Software for ray tracing

For LDV measurements in bordered areas, an offset of the LDV measurement volume is caused by the different refractive indices between fluid and borderings (e.g. pipes). Especially for measurements in pipes, a calculation of the position of the probe outside the pipe is necessary for the measurement at given positions in the fluid.

The Ray Tracing software allows the intuitive and graphic-supported creation of traversing files for 1D and 2D measurements depending on the respective optical (i.e. probe and media) and mechanical properties (i.e. shape and dimension of the boundary).
