Conversion of a Draisine with an autonomous electric drive

An existing, manual Draisine (hand car, "Samendarre Jatznick") was equipped with an electric drive system and sensors (LIDAR, ultrasonic sensors, cameras, GPS). Multiple safety systems allow for an autonomous operation. The Draisine can be controlled directly from the pilot stand, or from a remote web interface. The approval for operation was given by the TÜV Süd.
