Information about the founder and owner:

Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Müller (born 1962) has been active in the fields of laser-optical flow measurement technology and flow measurement technology for more than 30 years. He received his doctorate in 1989 from the Technical University of Dresden on the subject of "Development of an optical fiber-supported measuring probe for laser Doppler anemometry and investigations for its use in large gas flow measurement". This was followed by three years as a lecturer at the TU Berlin and as project manager of a joint laser-optical project of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt Berlin, the Berlin energy supplier BEWAG and the TU Berlin. From 1993 to 2003 he held various positions (development engineer, product manager, development manager and 2nd managing director) in a Swiss company in the flow and heat industry. He gained further experience in the field of technical services as technical manager in an engineering company. From 2003 to 2005 he completed a postgraduate study to become an "Industrial Engineer (FH)". In March 2005 he founded the company OPTOLUTION GmbH in Switzerland (predecessor of today's German OPTOLUTION Messtechnik GmbH).
