On site calibrations for emissions trading

According to the Monitoring Regulation (EU No. 601/2012) and the EU Allocation Regulation Art. 7 para. 1, data sources with the highest achievable accuracy must be used for measurements to quantify emissions. Especially for heat meters in older installations and the use of non-MID compliant heat meters (i.e. without existing conformity assessment and declaration), you can achieve hierarchy level 1 data sources with an on-site calibration of the flow sensors by our DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory. Thus, the actual uncertainties of the measuring devices under operating conditions are determined and it is not necessary to consider the usually larger traffic error limits.

Provide evidence of the measurement uncertainties through regular calibrations.

This is a significant accounting advantage. Use it.
